In the Long-lab, we study the genetic basis of quantitative variation for different phenotypes in different organisms. These include bristle number and chemotoxicity in Drosophila melanogaster, experimental evolution in Drosophila, yeast, and E. coli, and butterfly evo/devo. We also do theoretical work on the genetics of complex traits and experimental evolution.
